Nars is my go-to brand when it comes to blush and mascara. I’ve been using these two for quite some time, I just wasn’t able to find time to write a review about it until now.

Chel’s comments

Pros: It complements my skintone. I’m NC35 and it looks really good when blended well (cheekbones, hairline, jawline, noseline) to make it look natural.

No need to use bronzer because it looks shimmery (some people won’t like it)
Cons: Brush not included
Nars Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara $40 (Php 1,600)
Product Description:
Lush. Lavish. Dramatically full lashes. Vitamin-enriched mascara boosts volume and curl with every stroke for high-drama lashes that are bigger than ever. Every lash is coated with a velvety finish; no clumping, smudging or flaking.
Distinctive square brush designed for optimum color pick-up
NARS’ signature honeycomb bristles allow for even distribution
Chel’s comments

Pros: Thick and doesn’t smudge easily.
Cons: Clumps because I have to put three layers for the full lashes look
Nars can be a little pricey but the products are really good. For some, Nars and other high end brands are considered as a good investment for their makeup kits.
Will I repurchase? Definitely.
Note: This is not a paid post. These were purchased last June here in Melbourne at Myer. Philippine peso price was based on current conversion. Nars is available at Rustans (And based on the website, its cheaper by a couple of bucks).
