As mentioned in my Ferra Hotel Boracay Review, I was able to try out some of the best-sellers that The Ruf Resto Bar offers. Ranked as Tripadvisor’s #1 restaurant in Boracay, I had a feeling that I was in for a treat.
Located at the 4th floor/roof top of Ferra Hotel Boracay, be prepared to step out to an open restaurant and bar with a cozy ambiance. The staff will welcome you with their friendly smiles too.

For registered Ferra Hotel guests, you have complimentary drinks (either a cocktail or a mocktail) that you can enjoy at The Ruf Resto Bar.
In photo is The Ruf Resto Bar’s Virgin Mojito cocktail. It was such a refreshing drink that I got so obsessed with it!
Now, for the food. I got to try the Sizzling Sisig, Satay Sampler, Nasi Goreng.
Nasi Goreng P285
Indonesian fried rice, beef, chicken & shrimps and sunny side up egg. This is so good on its own already!
And wow, no wonder The Ruf Resto Bar is ranked as TripAdvisor’s #1 Restaurant in Boracay, the food was really delicious!
Sizzling Sisig P240
The ultimate favorite for almost everyone (me too). Perfect pulutan while having drinks. It basically crunchy chopped pork, chopped onions, chillies.
The serving is perfect for sharing. Each dishes were priced reasonably. And the most important part is that you don’t have to wait for a long time for the food to be served.
Satay sampler P385
A plate of grilled chicken, pork, and mixed seafood that’s been marinated with the perfect amount of herbs and spices. Served with the peanut sauce, I swear every dip was magical.
I suggest coming here around 5pm because The Ruf Resto Bar has one of the amazing sunset views in Boracay.
Banana Langka Spring Roll P110
Banana and jackfruit spring roll coated with caramel sauce. Possibly the best turon in the world and really a must-try while you are in Boracay.
A restaurant review isn’t complete without my thoughts on desserts ( I always have a room for this, no matter what!). I had The Ruf Resto Bar Banna Langka Spring Roll (Turon) and yet again, I was super happy (insert my happy dance when I eat great food). The crispy turon, ice cream and chocolate syrup exploded in my mouth like heaven.
I had a beautiful dining experience at The Ruf Resto Bar and I will surely come visit again when I am back in the island. I love the fact this its tucked away from the busy White Beach yet I can still enjoy the beautiful Boracay sunset.
