February: Current Favourites

I know we just started with February but I couldn’t help but to share with you guys what my four current obsessions are.
February Favourites
Issey Miyake
Colgate Optic White
Hair Mask
Lemongrass oil

Argan Oil DIY Hair Spa
My coconut hair spa tub is no more so when I saw this one, I knew I had to get it. Argan Oil is known as “liquid gold” and has numerous benefits. But what is Argan Oil you ask? It is an organic product extracted from the kernels of the argan tree, which is native to Morocco. It is extremely rich in beneficial nutrients including fatty acids and vitamin E. Its properties make it particularly beneficial for the hair and skin.

Argan oil is proven to make hair softer, silkier and shinier. It can even help to treat split ends and tame frizzy hair.

Issey Miyake
I’m really picky with colognes and perfumes but Issey Miyake smells like magic to me. It lasts the whole day, doesn’t have an overpowering scent. If I will have to put it in words, it’s like Aphrodite walking from her glorious bath.

Colgate Optic White
After finishing a tube of White Glo, I wanted to explore my other options on tooth pastes that promise whitening. I’m a tea lover and now I have to pay the consequence of having yellow stained teeth. Hopefully, Colgate Optic White will deliver its promise of one shade whiter after one week.

Lemon Grass Essential Oil
I picked up this habit of lighting an oil burner with aroma therapy oils in 2013. It relaxes me after a tiring day and leaves the room smelling fresh. Right now, I’m using Scent for Senses in Lemongrass. Though I don’t really recommend it because it’s not as concentrated as other oils, you need to put more drops than the usual.

How about you? What are your current favourites?

  1. Hmm that perfume just looks like it will smell nice. What kind of scent does it have? Love that it lasts all day but not so overpowering. Also i’ve learnt that nothing treats split ends, the only way to stop it splitting further up your hair strand is to trim it off. Trying to fix split ends is like trying to fix a split nail x

  2. Hi Chanele!

It smells fresh but not fruity or flowery scent 🙂

Oh no, but I noticed that my hair is no longer prone to split ends when I started using Argan Oil x

    Hope this helps!

  3. Ooh ok, it was just something I learnt when I did my hair course. Will defo try out Argan oil though, heard a lot of good things about it. xx

  4. I actually just finished my first tube. I have to say I really love it! However, I would be careful not to leave it siting on your face very long. I like to let the toothpaste sit in my mouth for a couple minutes, since I usually brush in the shower, but the excess toothpaste around my mouth tends to make my skin feel irritated! However, I just wipe the excess with some water and that works just fine (: (I also have sensitive skin so that might be why haha)

  5. Yea I know what you mean! I hate using white strips and getting them bleached is just ugh 🙁 I heard it’s not super enjoyable.
