Birdhouse Fried Chicken at Uptown BGC

I was luckily invited to Birdhouse Fried Chicken’s 1st Anniversary celebration by Carla at Uptown BGC. This marks my second time visiting this mall haha, first time was when I had some yummy shakes at Shakeaway, remember?

So much for my newbie mall experience, let’s go back to Birdhouse’s celebration with a theme of Lord of the Wings.

Birdhouse Fried Chicken is located at The Food Hall, 4th floor of Uptown Mall BGC. I like the idea of their food court as it is more focused on the mid to high end market, providing better food concept selections.

The ambiance is more lively and open to ensure a better ambiance and dining experience. There are a lot of office buildings nearby and I feel kinda envious because when I was still working in Makati, we have so little food options. Obviously, that isn’t the case if you work near Uptown Mall in BGC (if I’ll be working near Birdhouse, I’ll be having lunch here all the time – that’s how much I love fried chicken!)

The Birdhouse Lord of the Wings has 6 different flavors which are all very delicious and interesting. These Jumbo Wings start at P199 for 6 pcs and P395 for 12 pcs. If you opt for the 12 chicken wings order (good choice!), you can select 2 flavors.

My favorite amongst the six is the Roasted Garlic Parmesan fried chicken. You get the real flavor of roasted garlic combined with parmesan cheese, not just artificial flavoring!

My second favorite is the Bacon Mac & Cheese.

K-Bomb as the name suggests, is spicy and at the same time creamy. Perfect combination, I reckon!

The Pepper Cream of Birdhouse offers a mild taste of black pepper. It has a nice kick of spiciness but not as strong as the K-Bomb.

My second favorite is the Cheese & Caramel Popcorn that comes in 2 flavors. The chicken wings coated with cheese, honey and caramel. I would have loved to love these but found it too sweet for my own liking. I finished my Peach Iced Tea (an upgrade to your regular Iced Tea) after having a bite of this.

Birdhouse Fried Chicken’s Smokehouse BBQ is a crowd favorite. This is a much better and improved buffalo wings that has the sweet and smokey barbecue sauce that everyone enjoys!
