Raina aka Konyo Queen extended her invitation to me to attend the launch of Little Creatures beer at Pedro Tap House in Poblacion.
Little Creatures is from Australia and known to produce the highest quality hand crafted beers using the freshest and finest ingredients available.

We were able to try out three of their brews: Dog Day’s, Pale Ale and Bright Ale.
Dog Days
Initially released as a Summer Seasonal – they had to bring it back for good as it became a crowd favorite. Dog Day’s is also available in can.
With bright, peachy, juicy-fruit hop flavours, this is the choice for when you want a refreshing and hoppy beer in a convenient, light weight format you can take anywhere.
Best paired with: Crisp spicy light food, such as fresh vegetable rice paper rolls with a spicy sauce.
Pale Ale
Also known as the All-Rounder
Hop driven, full bodied and refreshing Pale Ale bursting with flavour and aroma.
Best paired with: Pizzas, burgers, grilled meats, mussels in flavoursome broths
Bright Ale
Not too bitter, the malt is subtle and it keeps it refreshing. My personal favorite.
A refreshingly balanced Australian ale that binds subtle malt characters with a fruity hop aroma and gentle bitterness for a clean, crisp taste.
Best paired with: This beer can handle some spice, perfect for asian inspired dishes
Little Creatures beers not only reflect the brewer’s art and the culture of their brewery, but they also aim to embrace and incorporate the culture of LC community, wherever they are.

Since I love eating while drinking, and also I was so keen to try out the food at Pedro Tap House, me and Raina ordered some food to pair with our Little Creatures beer.
Food (in order of the photo appearance): Bar Junk, Korean Mini Corn Dogs, Fried Cheese Balls, Candied Bacon, Beer Sausages, All Beef Burger, Pedro Hangover Bowl
Everything was super good but my favorites are the Bar Junk (Popcorn, candied bacon, almonds, cashews, chili, orange zest) – couldn’t help myself from munching on these haha. Next was the fried cheese balls. Why? Well, I love cheese and anything deep fried. So this combo was a sure win for me.
