Dragonland Music Festival in Hong Kong

Let me start this post by saying how much I love music festivals! The most recent one I went to was Clockenflap, a 3-day event in Hong Kong. This was my boyfriend’s birthday gift to me last year and we had so much fun!

While we were there, I was handed a flyer for Dragonland Music Festival 2017. A 3-day festival bringing Electronic Dance and Pop Music culture to Hong Kong. I always look forward to events like these because it gives people a chance to catch up with old friends, meet new people and celebrate great music together.

I remember in 2013, I was so crazy with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) to the point that I was attending every music festival in Manila and Australia. EDM festival is especially big in Europe and America, while in Asia it is undoubtedly becoming wildly popular (Japan, Korea, and Singapore have recently hosted EDM festivals).

February 25th is a One Day Dance event with famous EDM artists Vinai, Redfoo, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Tom Swoon, and Infected Mushroom.

AND it’s just getting better because come February 26th, One Night Pop will showcase the best in the biz, Black Eyed Peas, Iggy Azalea, Carly Rae Jepsen (!!!) and Mike Posner!

Dragonland Music Festival —— This is going to be the CRAZIEST outdoor concert combining EDM and Pop at Central Harbour Front on Feb 25-26, 2017! Gather Your party squad and get your tickets NOW at www.hotdogtix.com !!!

Dragonland Music Festival (Dragonland) will be the first outdoor concert in Hong Kong to combine both music genres – EDM and Pop – plus to jumpstart the whole event, a full concert by Leon Lai, a Hong Kong favourite will take place on February 24th. This is definitely something special because it’s very rare in Hong Kong to have an event like this.

Dragonland begins with a story based on the 4 Essential Elements – Fire, Water, Air, and Earth – which represent 4 Tribes. The concept of tribes symbolizes people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. These 4 tribes unite everyone at the festival and that’s the ultimate aim of Dragonland: to unite people through music surrounded by the beauty of Victoria and the skyscrapers of Hong Kong.
