With so many food parks around the metro it is starting to get a bit confusing on where to go the best. Personally, I’m not really a huge of food parks, I mean I don’t mind going there once or twice just to experience the food. But it’s not a place that I would crave to go back to.
But I think that would change with the newest addition to The Yard’s growing family of food parks, The Yard StreetFood Cinema in Tomas Morato.
As you could tell, the theme for this food park is anything related to films and tv shows. What sets this place apart from the rest is the fact that you can actually come here, enjoy the food and drinks, and watch a film. Yes, they have movies playing in the big screen!
The Yard StreetFood Cinema in Tomas Morato is very lively and colorful. It offers a spacious parking space too for people who would bring in their cars.
We got to try the amazing food and drinks that the tenants here are offering and wow, can I just say that they are beyond amazing!
These are some of my favorites:
Pipa’s Taco Pizzas that are named after some of the Hollywood celebrities: Egg Sheeran (Salted Egg Pizza), MANYlyn Monroe (Supreme Pizza), PINEAPL.De.Ap (Hawaiian Pizza), and Lily TACOllins (Taco Pizza). You also have the option to combine two flavors in one pizza, by adding only P30!
Hakuna Patata redefined my all time favorite snack deep fried potatoes with their unique offerings.
Daddys: The GodPasta’s Soft Shell Crab Pasta was unbelievably amazing. Not the kind of dish you would find in a food park. I will definitely come back for this!
This Cheesy Ribs by Lord of the Ribs is beyond perfection! Just look at that cheese!
Hello Japanese lovers! Crazy Sushi MNL’s California Maki was super fresh and good. They gave it a nice twist by serving it with crispy potato strips on top.
And of course, desserts. The Yard StreetFood Cinema has a good selection of vendors that offer something to calm your sweet tooth.
With all the food that you will be trying out here, you would need a drink! Quenchers, which is a stall inspired by the Avengers and the rest of your favorite Marvel superheroes (as can be seen in their menu), offers a great selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. They even have drinks that are served in a fun and interactive way. One is Ultimate Hulk Smash, the bar tender will ask you to smash the table to make a smaller cup filled with gummy bears and dry ice to fall into your drink – while wearing a pair of Incredible Hulk gloves!
