I’ve got so many things to share so I figured I should do a Life Lately post. As you all know, I’m currently back in Manila, but seriously itching to book a plane ticket, pack my bags and go somewhere! Ideally Hong Kong because I miss my boyfriend. I know he did visit me quite recently but still!!!

Anyway, this week is a bit quiet for me so I’ll mostly write about what I was up to last weekend.

First up, my first ever gel nail polish experience at Beauty & Butter. Glad that there’s a branch here in SM Taytay where I can conveniently go to.

Beauty & Butter SM TaytayThe nail technician I had, Ate Nica, was very gentle with my nails plus she was telling me every step that she was doing. A gel nail polish is meant to last for 2 weeks so expect a little difference from a normal manicure session, but surprisingly mine just took a little more than an hour, that’s including pedicure already. Not too bad!Beauty & ButterI chose a color from the Gelish line and once it has been applied, my hand goes in to the LED light/lamp. This needs to be done twice for each hand, the first layer is like the colorless polish to make your gel polish stick and the next one is for your preferred color.

You don’t need to wait for it to dry because it dries instantly, all thanks to lamp! When she told me that I can touch and feel it, I swear I was so amazed.
Beauty & Butter reviewI’m a lover of nudes, can you tell? 🙂 No my fingers are not wet, they put oil around your cuticles so it wont get dry from the LED light/lamp. Just in case that it chips within 3 days, you can come back to the same branch to get it fixed.

Check out Beauty & Butter website for a branch near you. I suggest to schedule an appointment this month because they have an ongoing promo.

Then, Saturday morning, as I was getting ready to go to Spectrum Fair, I received a dozen of beautiful red roses from Greg for our first Valentine’s Day. He had it scheduled for the 14th but the delivery man came a day earlier, no idea why but I was still very happy about it.
Spectrum Fair 2016 review
Spectrum Fair was an indoor-outdoor lifestyle fair that happened last February 13 and 14 at Whitespace Manila.

From food, fashion, home, lifestyle, to arts & crafts, they got you covered. They had some live performances too!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 presetI went with Pia of Wander Jungle. And finally got to meet Camie of Wild-Spirit! Yay!
Eats so Good reviewEats so Good menuMy favourite booth from the fair was Eats So Good of Monse and Patrick! I got to try their Alfred Oh! Nara with Parma ham and true to their name, its so good! The sauce was the perfect blend and the right amount of crunchiness. Right now, they are just doing fairs and pop-ups so make sure you follow their Instagram to know their next event. *They were sold out on both nights, that’s a proof of how delicious their food is.*
Eats so Good menuThere were lots of unique and good finds, items that I usually just see on Instagram. So if you’re the type of shopper that prefers to see stuff in person before buying, watch out for the next Spectrum Fair Manila! All the booths that they had were well curated and very special.
Jump Yard PhilippinesFrom Makati, we went to Frontera Verde to check out Jump Yard, the first and largest indoor trampoline park in the Philippines. As expected, there were so many people because it was a weekend. I know what you are thinking, this place is not just for kids but for adults too!

Before you start jumping, you need to register first so the next time you come back you’re already in the system. We got to try their online registration and it was painless! It will definitely speed up the process. Also, make sure you take some time to watch the safety videos being played all around the venue, you want to have some fun, not injuries!
Jump Yard Philippines reviewYou know you’re ready once they give you your socks and a wristband. But, you need to follow which hour you are registered to. You cant just go as you wish. Which makes it very orderly and organised!
Jump Yard review
Hungry? Jump Yard has a restaurant that offers light meals and beverages to boost your energy. For non-players, you can relax and watch your friends or children from the viewing deck.
Jump Yard review
To make it more exciting they have activities like Dodge Ball, Foam Pit, basketball and a lot more so you will definitely enjoy your one hour session. For 250pesos, I definitely think it is worth it. Plus if you’re a fitness buff, you’ll like the fact that you can burn loads of calories here.

I love the fact that it leaves no marks to the surface and I can apply it easily. I can’t wait to put the cat one on my MacBook! These are all available at Power Mac Center and iStudio Stores nationwide!

Before I end this post, here’s a follow me around vlog that I made when I was in Spectrum Fair and Jump Yard. Hope you enjoy!

How about you, how was your weekend?
