Last week, me and my friends had dinner at Gelatofix Lifestyle Cafe in BGC. A world-class café, which initially enticed customers with its over the top gelato creations and exquisite Italian cuisine, we knew as soon as we walked in that we are in for a treat.
Front and center on their menu is the Big Bird, a huge portion of delicious, golden fried, boneless chicken with special herbs and spices. Comes with gravy and honey on the side. Based on our experience, this is good for 2-3 pax.
They also have Braised Lamb Shank- slowly cooked to achieve its full tender, flavor. Topped with brown sauce, gremolata and fresh veggies.
For pasta lovers (like me), there’s an array of pasta selection – make sure you try the much-raved about Prawn Apricot Pasta. A dish that is both sweet and light in the palate. The Risotto Al Funghi has, likewise, become a crowd drawer because of the familiar and well-loved flavor of mushroom mixed with the gummy consistency of risotto.
We also had to try their pizza, steak, salad and fries. Super delicious and very filling!
Since we are in a Gelato cafe, we made sure to save some space for desserts. Famous for their Gelato Sushi, this beautifully curated dessert that has the creaminess of gelato and the spice of this Japanese staple. is a winner for us.
