K-Swiss in Collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products Releases Limited-Edition Collection Marking the 35th Anniversary of the 1984 Hit Movie ‘Ghostbusters,’ Sold Exclusively at Case Study

Case Study today unveils the next limited-edition, must-have sneaker: the K-Swiss and Ghostbusters villain duo. In celebration of the film’s 35th anniversary, K-Swiss takes a modern approach to the design of two archived models, Classic 2000 and Si-18 International.

Renowned sneaker customizer Alexander-John spotlights two of the most infamous villains from the original 1984 Ghostbusters, Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Slimer is brought to life on a Classic 2000 in Ectoplasm Green translucent PVC, animated with his infamous pink tongue on the insole, ready to “eat your soles.” The upper features a metal d-ring lace system and die-cut EVA sock liners finessed with the Ghostbusters logo. The outsole features a glow-in-the-dark translucent green rubber outsole to match the upper.

Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is designed in his original colorway – white, red and blue – for the Si-18 International. The shoe features a quilted puffed toe box and die-cut EVA sock liners with Stay Puft logos on the inside. The model sits atop a translucent rubber outsole, providing durable traction for everyday wear. There is a custom Stay Puft woven label on the tongue, embroidered “GB-84” for the year Ghostbusters released, and an exclusive K-Swiss x Ghostbusters lockup logo completes the commemorative embellishments.

“K-Swiss has done an excellent job at creating shoes that celebrate the villains and the history of Ghostbusters. We are very excited to celebrate this mile marker anniversary with them and the fans,” said Jamie Stevens, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Consumer Products for Sony Pictures Entertainment.

“We are very excited to bring this faithful tribute to Slimer and Stay Puft in honor of Ghostbusters’ 35th anniversary,” says Geoff Nishimoto, K-Swiss Collaborations Manager.

The limited-edition collection will be sold exclusively at Case Study, Bonifacio High Street Central, Taguig.
