Hands up if you’re someone who can’t leave the house without spraying on your favorite perfume. Feeling fresh and smelling nice can definitely make you feel good. And to be honest, if someone smells good, that’s an automatic plus points +++. It speaks volumes about one’s character too (that they take good care of themselves).

If you are looking for a new perfume to try or thinking of gifting one, here’s some of my recommendations:

For men

Bleu de Chanel

Fresh, clean and seductive. Bleu de Chanel is an aromatic woody fragrance that gives off a whiff of elegance.

Dior Sauvage

I can smell this scent on a guy instantly. Long lasting and a crowd-pleaser fragrance. Woody, musk and spice blend, a combo that can’t go wrong.

For Women

Issey Miyake

This was my staple perfume and would always repurchase as soon as I’m done with my bottle. Smells light, clean and almost aquatic not very much floral which I like. You really cannot go wrong with this one.

Gucci Bloom Acqua Di Fiori

One of my current favorites, a musky light floral fragrance that’s not overpowering. Perfect for daily wear!

Jo Malone

A cult favorite. All Jo Malone scents are a must-try and you have so much to choose from. The Peony & Blush Suede Cologne and Mimosa & Cardamom are worth checking out. Light, floral and unique fragrances – I’m sure you’ll find a signature scent from the Jo Malone line.

Bonus: Dolce & Gabbana Light blue

I don’t think people can get tired of this scent – fresh fruity almost citrusy. If you are looking for a light and clean perfume that can last all day long and is not too overpowering, this is your best bet.
