I love watching MasterChef. It gives me the inspiration and motivation to learn how to cook. Little did I know, I’ll be able to see “where the filming aka magic happens” in person.
How the set looks like once you walk inside the building.
Where the contestants wait while the judges deliberate.

Whipping out some MasterChef pose :p
MasterChef set is filmed inside the venue of the Royal Melbourne Show. There are dates that the chefs will be available to come in and have a quick talk about certain topics but it wasn’t the same day that we were there.
Do you watch MasterChef? Who is your favorite?
I haven't watched MasterChef Australia but I've watched the Korean version, the challenges are so awesome and the contestants are brilliant! BTW, the set looks so awesome.
I have only seen MasterChef Kids Australia and I like the judge-chefs there. Nice to know that we can visit the studio when we travel to Melbourne. How do you arrange a studio tour? – Fred
the wall of wine is amazing! the whole set is pretty cool..
Nice set up..When it airs on tv? Nakakagutom..hehehe..:)
Wow, this is so cool! Lucky you! 🙂 The set is so nice. Not sure if this show airs in Manila though.
Good on you! Definitely! I love MKR as well. When I was in Sydney, I'd always watch both…:) and I even tried cooking Spatchcock! 🙂
Never watched Master Chef on either Philippine nor Australian franchise. But I admire their set here. It looked more than a pro set-up like those in the bistro's kitchen.
I love Master Chef! I've watched so many versions already but my most favorite one is the Kids version in Australia. You're lucky to have been able to visit the set.
Oh wow, since when was the last time I watched Masterchef Australia? i guess two years ago. We have the local version of this in the Philippines, I have been watching that show too. I envy you for the chance to visit the set,
